Sonja brings over three decades of experience in trademark prosecution, brand protection, and intellectual property strategy. Her career spans both in-house counsel roles and law firm practice, beginning at Temko & Temko and Kane Kessler. For 15 years, she served as IP Counsel at Classic Media/DreamWorks Animation, where she managed a globally recognized portfolio of entertainment properties. Since 2016, Sonja has led her own practice, advising start-ups, artists, and corporations on trademark filings, branding strategy, and IP litigation.
Sonja earned her J.D., cum laude, from New York Law School, and her B.A., magna cum laude, from Boston University.
