Racial Discrimination: Lack of Evidence for Termination Leads to Claim
A recent decision from the U.S. 7th Circuit Court of Appeals—which covers Illinois, Indiana and Wisconsin—took an employer to task for failing to support a termination decision with appropriate documentation and skewered the manager’s explanation for retaining a white employee over a comparable black employee. The latter will now get her day in court.
