Fox Swibel is pleased to announce Marisa K. Perry has joined the Firm as a Partner in the Construction Law Group.

Marisa focuses her practice on construction law, representing a broad range of clients across the construction industry. She advises clients throughout the lifecycle of construction projects, including drafting and negotiating construction, design, and project management agreements, and counseling clients on issues such as schedule delays, change orders, payment disputes, and mechanic’s liens. Her litigation practice includes complex construction and commercial disputes in courts and arbitrations nationwide. Marisa has represented owners, developers, general contractors, and design professionals in matters involving delayed project delivery, disruption and loss of productivity, change order disputes, design and construction defects, and contract interpretation.

Prior to joining Fox Swibel, Marisa practiced construction litigation and transactions at Harris Winick Harris LLP and spent nearly a decade in the complex commercial litigation group at Jenner & Block. She is also deeply committed to pro bono work and has received recognition including the Award for Excellence in Pro Bono Service from the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois and the Albert E. Jenner, Jr. Pro Bono Award.

Marisa earned her J.D., cum laude, from the University of Michigan Law School and her B.S. from Duke University.
