Maria advises clients at the forefront of the clean energy transition. She represents national renewable energy developers, EPCs, and investors in connection with project development, real estate and title matters (including minerals), corporate and financing transactions, joint ventures, and acquisitions and dispositions. Her practice reflects a deep understanding of the legal, commercial, and operational complexities unique to the renewable energy sector.
Maria began her career as a project finance attorney at Mayer Brown in New York and Chicago, where she represented sponsors, financial institutions, and multilateral lending agencies in a wide range of energy and infrastructure transactions and played a key role in establishing the firm’s Renewable Energy practice. Prior to joining Fox Swibel, she was a partner at a boutique firm focused exclusively on renewable energy transactions.
