Stephanie B. Shellenback
Stephanie Shellenback is counsel to the firm in the Real Estate Group. Stephanie primarily focuses on dispositions and acquisitions, as well as leasing and financing. She has closed numerous transactions in locations throughout the US, ranging from office properties and shopping centers to vacant land for development. In her leasing practice, Stephanie has represented the ownership side in numerous downtown Chicago leasing transactions, each exceeding 50,000 square feet. In addition to serving a client base comprised of institutional investors, she has brought her understanding of real estate to corporate merger transactions and has also counseled not-for-profit corporations in connection with their real estate investments and holdings.

From 2005 – 2019 and since 2022, Stephanie has been selected to the list of Illinois Super Lawyers. Her selection was published in Chicago Magazine. Super Lawyers selects attorneys using a patented multiphase selection process. Peer nominations and evaluations are combined with third party research. Each candidate is evaluated on 12 indicators of peer recognition and professional achievement. Only five percent of lawyers in Illinois are selected for inclusion to the Illinois Super Lawyers list, and are made on an annual, state-by-state basis.
Since 2010, she has also been selected for inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America© in the field of Real Estate.
