Ryan M. Hubbard
Ryan Hubbard is a partner in the Litigation and Intellectual Property groups. He concentrates on complex patent and intellectual property litigation in federal court around the country and counselling clients on intellectual property portfolio management, new product development and clearance, and due diligence. He has advised clients regarding cyber-security, privacy, and data breach issues. He represents clients of all sizes, from startups to multinational corporations, and leverages his curiosity and a deep understanding of client needs to deliver practical advice and long-term solutions.
Ryan has experience in a wide variety of technologies including cryptography, e-commerce and advertising, x-ray and biomedical imaging, website design and UX, cloud computing, network devices, database and storage software, semiconductor fabrication and testing, digital video and video conferencing, GPS, commercial refrigeration, orthopedic implants, medical devices, pharmaceuticals, wireless devices, and automotive networks and sensors.
Prior to joining the firm, Ryan worked in-house leading the IP functions of a multi-national x-ray technology company. He previously led the in-house litigation and IP teams at a global commerce company with over 10,000 employees, where he managed litigation and disputes around the world, and advised on a variety of IP strategy, policy, transactional, and employment issues.
