Michael works primarily with developers and long-term asset owners in the solar industry and retail energy providers, helping navigate the complex regulatory frameworks impacting revenue streams, such as advising on new products, strategic partnerships, asset acquisition and disposal, customer contracts, and compliance.

Michael has over 15 years of experience in the Energy Law domain working with clients on a wide range of issues from regulatory litigation and transactional work, to acting as lead counsel to solar energy trade associations. Michael has also served as the first in-house Chief Legal Counsel at the Illinois Power Agency. Michael received his A.B., cum laude, from Dartmouth College and his J.D. from the University of Michigan.
