Arlene Richman is counsel to the Firm practicing in the area of Real Estate. Arlene has expansive commercial real estate and finance experience. She developed her skills, knowledge and relationships practicing at global and national law firms (including Latham & Watkins and SidleyAustin) and serving as in-house general counsel for two commercial real estate developer/operator companies (a privately owned Chicago-based company as well as the U.S. subsidiary of a publicly traded Canadian REIT).

Her real estate and finance experience encompasses leasing (nationwide office, retail and industrial / fabrication facilities), finance (including all aspects of mortgage financing, securitizations, corporate / credit facility lending and workouts), acquisitions and sales, real estate aspects of corporate mergers and acquisitions and sales, operational and management counseling and agreements, general commercial contracts, and all aspects of real estate and organization due diligence.

Arlene has handled single property, multi-property and cross-border leasing, acquisition and sale and financing transactions for individuals, closely held companies, publicly traded corporate clients, foreign entities doing business in the US, insurance companies, banks and private equity funds. Her experience spans representation of individuals and entities on all sides of such transactions.

Consequently, Arlene appreciates the nuances of representing a variety of clients and appropriately tailors her representation for each client and transaction. Arlene enjoys partnering with her clients to efficiently, successfully and enjoyably accomplish their business objectives.
