Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Statement

Fox Swibel Levin & Carroll LLP is strongly committed to diversity, equity and inclusion and proudly heralds Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day on January 16.  No one in the history of our country has been a more heroic example of devotion to these principles than Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. was – he personified the struggle of the victims of racial injustice to rise up peacefully, with dignity, grace and resolve.  His eloquence and courage left an indelible imprint on the fabric of American society, and we today still recall, recount and celebrate his indomitable spirit.  What is a greater legacy than to be remembered with a nationwide day of reflection, action and service to our communities, that we may one day overcome all hatred, bigotry and intolerance that still sadly afflicts our society.  Let us applaud Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day and may it serve as a reminder of our goal of greater tolerance and understanding among people of all socio-economic and cultural backgrounds, religions, races, genders, sexual orientations and abilities.

Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Statement

Fox Swibel Levin & Carroll LLP is strongly committed to diversity, equity and inclusion.  These words, however, do not adequately address the often unspoken societal disease of antisemitism, the oldest form of bigotry and discrimination known to man.  As antisemitic rhetoric has lately become more prevalent within social media hate outlets and among certain celebrities who believe themselves to be the fashion makers of human discourse, we must combat such vile and vitriolic utterances and symbols of hate.  We at Fox Swibel fully embrace Martin Luther King’s statement that “injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere,” and firmly believe that civil society’s failure to adamantly fight antisemitism ultimately risks the denigration of all other groups of people merely on the basis of their identity.  We seek to bridge understanding among people of all socio-economic and cultural backgrounds, religions, races and genders and respect the differences among all people.  For the protection of the dignity of all human beings, please join us to take a stand to reject antisemitism and all of its ugly guises.
