Laurie A. Levin

Laurie Levin is a founding partner and the Chair of the Banking & Corporate Finance Group. She practices in the areas of real estate and corporate transactions and secured lending. Her clients include domestic and international banks, private equity companies, developers, property managers, business owners, franchisees and high net worth individuals. She heads the Firm’s corporate finance practice, consisting of real estate, corporate and asset-based financing, construction financing, loan sales, loan workouts and foreclosures. She is also a member of the Firm’s Bankruptcy, Restructuring and Creditors’ Rights Group. Additionally, she handles a wide variety of office, industrial and retail leasing, and represents a number of private equity investors in the acquisition and disposition of large retail chains, private placements and other investments.

Laurie is also outside general counsel to a significant real estate company and its affiliated entities, handling all internal matters for the company and family matters for its principal in addition to transaction-based matters for the company and its affiliates, including its institutional funds.

Laurie is an Executive Board Member of the Highland Park Community Foundation.
